Quantitative analysis was achieved by gas-liquid chromatographic method (GLC) with a single-column system of OV-17 for 16 of protein amino acids in mushroom (agaricus bisporus).
The quantities of protein amino acids in mushroom were determined 48.32^255. 94 mg% alanine, 108.6F364.82 mg% glycine, 124.30^314.17 mg% Valine, 32.99^418.79 mg% leucine and isoleucine, 151.78^669.07 mg% threonine, 88.124F6. 3F mg% Serine, 21.9F114.94 mg% Hydroxyproline, 20. F4--174.63 mgOo proline, 34.52^173.59 mgo Methionine, 255.25^1417.61 mg% Aspartic Acid, 10F. 00^392.17 mg% Phenylalanine, 12F. 46^535.65 mg/ Glutamic Acid and Lysine, Tyrosine in trace amount.
